MCLOUGHLIN BAY FERRY TERMINAL REPLACE FLOATING LEADS

The project objective was to replace floating leads at McLoughlin Bay Ferry Terminal, and it was succesfully carried out alongside active Heiltsuk First Nations Fishing Farm without incidents. 

VanPile’s scope of work on replacing the floating leads consisted of:

  • Supplying and installing three concrete pontoons that were, connected on site;
  • Drilling and grouting twelve rock chains to secure the floating concrete lead.

Upgrading existing fender piles and working on modifications to the ramps The Ferry Terminal maintained its operations during the project.
