Docks & wharves
Docks and wharves are structures built perpendicular to the shoreline and typically utilized for mooring vessels. VANPILE works collaboratively with customers to determine the most economical maintenance and/or repair method to achieve the outcome most suited for the customer’s requirements and demand.
Demolition & Pile removal
VANPILE has extensive experience with both partial and complete marine infrastructure demolition and pile removal, as it is commonly a part of the project scope. We also can act as subcontractor to perform the demolition works (whether land-based or marine-based).
Berthing-mooring structures
As these structures deal with the impact force of vessels, ongoing care and attention are advantageous in preserving their intended use and useful life. VANPILE works collaboratively with customers to determine the maintenance and/or repair method to achieve the outcome most suited for the customer’s requirements and demand.
Craning & Marine support
Craning is part of our everyday operations and VANPILE has a fleet of cranes capable of heavy lifts both on-land and on-water. Combining our equipment capabilities with our extensive lift experience, whether it’s performing day-to-day lifts in industrial construction projects or marine-based projects, we can safely provide lifting expertise.
Fendering systems
Fendering systems absorb the kinetic energy from the berthing vessel and protect both the berthing vessel and the infrastructure behind the fendering system. The type of fendering system utilized is unique to local conditions and berthing requirements
Emergency response
VANPILE has a team dedicated to responding to emergencies within a short period of time. Some of the types of emergency responses that VANPILE has dealt include oil spills, infrastructure failure, vessel damages, and salvage, dock/wharf damage, berthing-mooring damage, and craning and marine support.
Other services
The marine industry operates in an unpredictable environment in which the safety and environmental care are prominent factors to response. VANPILE provides a variety of ancillary marine services that includes salvage, spill response and hydrographic surveying.
